David Fix, Founder
David's competitive sports career developed from the St. Charles high school swimming program, where he became a multiple team and individual state champion, earning All American status along the way. He went on to become a world-class swimmer at Arizona State University, again earning All American while contributing to a nationally recognized collegiate program. He also competed for the United States in the 1988 Olympic Trials.
David is no stranger to being first out of the water in the many triathlons he has completed. In fact, he's finished in the top 10 after the swim in Hawaii Ironman on three occasions. His coaching career began at his alma mater, ASU, and he also served as a club coach for Scottsdale Aquatics.
Today, David's thirst for endurance sports is far from quenched. An active professional, husband, and father of three, David finds a rewarding challenge in balancing his career and family life with continued training as a competitive triathlete. Year after year, he seeks out new goals and challenges for a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
After a 13-year career in finance, David is eager to take on his newest challenge of running Endure It! He hopes to bring his unique experience and training perspective to athletes in the Chicago area. "Being a successful, driven athlete doesn't mean sacrificing you're life," he says. "Whatever your goal is, it can be done."
