Endure It! Swim Bike Run

Endure It! Vegas 2008 Baby (part 1 of 3)

The Endure It! crew of David, Tom, and Drew (more on him later) just got back from a successfull trip out to Las Vegas for the Interbike Show and Convention. For those of you not familiar with Interbike it is the worlds largest bicycle industry trade show and the first time North American Dealers have the opportunity to see with their own eyes all of the 2008 gear. The show is a blast, lots of energy, deals to be made, late night partying, who's who, and the usual shenanigans. I will get more into new deals for Endure It! when they have been finalized.

Triathlon Bikes

The big news in the Tri market was the new Ordu from Orbea. This is a bike that stands out with a lot of innovation and will give bikes over the $5,000 price point a run for their money.

Take a look at these stealth airfoils...

The down tube air foil swoops further than most below the bottom bracket.

Cervelo continues it's triathlon dominance with better spec, a tad bit of weight savings, more price points, and sharp new colors.

The P2C comes in two versions, the $3,000 Dura Ace mix, FSA SLK Light carbon cranks, Vision aero brake levers.

The other P2C is new and it is an Ultegra mix, FSA Gossamer aluminum spec for $2,500.

The best selling bike at Endure It! is the Cervelo P3C. This has a fantastic spec of Dura Ace, FSA SLK-Light, and Vision aero bars & brake levers for only $4,500. The paint job is only appreciated in person, the photos do not do it justice.

Quintana Roo has a few new bikes to appeal to the fastest growing segment of triathlon...the ladies. The Dulce is a smart spec based on the Seduza model of mixed Dura Ace and Ultegra.

At a lower price is the aluminum Chicqilo for $1500ish.

The other new addition is the Lucero Lite weighing in at sub 1100 grams as I recall.

Pinarello has the Montello in more colors and still remains the most beautiful TT bike on the market.
