Important Club Announcements
The 2008 season is here and I would like to take this time to make a few important announcements. I would also like to thank everyone who attended the last club meeting, I feel it was one of our best and gives us plenty to work for. We have a very enthusiastic membership and I deeply look forward to all the work it will take to get the club to a level we would all like to see.

If there is a large group of members participating in an event I am unaware of please let me know.
*The road racing team is currently working on their focus list and will be announced soon.
GALENA 2008
The Galena Triathlon has been mentioned by Triathlete Magazine as one of the countries best sprint triathlons. When the weather cooperates, this race is an absolute blast, challenging, organized, and a beautiful course. I would really like to get our entire club to participate in this season opener. Many other area clubs have a strong turnout for this and it lends itself to another fun aspect of the race.
With that in mind please sign up asap!. This race will fill up early and many members were surprised and disappointed by not getting into tri-shark. Galena is a great early season race to test your fitness and show what a great club we are!
Horribly Hilly Registration!
Registration begins Tomorrow the 19th at 9:00am and will fill up right away!!!
The HH event is truly one of the most challenging days you will get on a bike. The endure it! club recognizes this event as a fantastic way to challenge yourself, raise your fitness, and have a blast in the process. This year endure it! would love to get as many members do this ride as possible and have already booked a small number of rooms to for our members at a great nearby hotel for pre and post ride meeting shenanigans. This is an event that our training committee will help organize and I am again encouraging everyone to participate.
Club Renewals
The 2008 club renewal fee is $20.00. Please stop by endure it! and pick up your endure it! club long sleeve technical T from sport science complimentary with your renewal. The renewal process will be go through March. In order to receive all the benefits of the club membership you need to keep it active year to year.
Club Committees
The club will be relying this year on many of it's members to help develop, organize, and communicate as an enhancement for everyone. Below is a list of the committees we decided to form as well as a description of the responsibilities. If you would like to volunteer for one or more please respond to dan@endureitsports.com so we may get all of you in touch with each other and so you may get to work fight away. Many of you volunteered at the meeting, but I would like you to respond to Dan as well so we have updated emails. I hope you all find time in your schedule to help out and support as best you can.
Training Committee:
Will help organize many of the group training events including, Madison trips, Barrington rides, track workouts, group rides and runs, and other special events such as Horribly Hilly and Dairy Land Dare.
Membership Committee:
Designing club uniforms, gathering similar interests and data from fellow members for further communication and relationship building, renewal ideas, working with vendors for ordering new club product.
